Celebrating Women in Cycling

This year the Tour de Cuvée is all about celebrating women in cycling.

Following the disappointing cancellation of the women's tour in 2023, and we wanted to do a little something to redress the balance by shining a spotlight on the incredible women cyclists who bring passion, energy and inspiration to our world!

We've actively sought out partners who are female-founded and led for this year's ride, including Fettle, Rapha, and Vaela as well as partnering up with some incredible cycling influencers and communities to help spread the word.

It's important that anyone, whatever their gender, feels empowered to get on their bike to enjoy the ride and explore the world on two wheels.

Wine for Everyone 🍇 We believe in Wheels for Everyone, too.

Win This E-Bike! 👀

That's right, there's a prize!

Courtesy of electric bike company, MauáBased in Milan, Mauá has now landed in the UK with a showroom in Clerkenwell. They make electric bikes that really don't look like electric bikes - lighter, sleeker, and easier to use.

One lucky rider will roll off into the sunset on their very own bespoke Mauá Powerbike worth £3,624! 🤯

How Will It Work On The Day?

Once you've got your ticket sorted, this is how the day will work.

1. Riders meet at Cave Cuvée in Bethnal Green from 7am to pick up their merch packs, get a bike safety check from Fettle, and a much-needed coffee from Solo ☕️

2. Riders set off in staggered groups, with everyone on the road by around 9am. Follow the route given to you by us, with suggested stops and sightseeing highlights included 🌄

3. Enjoy the ride at your own pace, with a meeting point at the half-way mark for some much needed refreshments 🥪

4. Glide into Brighton in the afternoon, heading for UnBarred Taproom, where you can enjoy Top Cuvée hotdogs and a free pint with your Tour de Cuvée token from 2pm 🍻

5. Head back to London on the train (or, for the extreme, cycle back), with free pizza waiting for you at Fatto a Mano on your return 🍕

FAQS

Do I need to be a really good cyclist to join the Tour de Cuvée?

You don't need to be a pro to join our ride. However, the ride is mainly self-guided, with some spots available on guided rides for less experienced riders. You should be confident that you can cycle for several hours, but you can take as many breaks as you need - there's no race to the finish line in this ride.

Can I come along to the ride solo?

Of course! Riders are welcome in groups or solo - you'll make plenty of friends on the way. There's nothing like cycling over Ditchling Beacon to make some strong bonds.

Will you help if I get a puncture?

This is a self-guided ride, so riders are expected to be able to manage any issues like punctures. Our friends at Fettle are providing free puncture kits in every bag, plus will be tuning up bikes at our Bethnal Green shop before we set off to try to avoid as many issues as possible.

Do you do any discounts for big groups?

Yes we do - groups of 4 or more riders can book at the discounted price of £70.

What do I need to bring?

You'll need to bring your own bike and helmet, but we can take care of the rest. You'll receive a Top Cuvée water bottle in your merch pack, plus some snacks to keep you going in between stops - bring any of your own personal faves to keep fuelled up. You'll also need your phone or other GPS device to follow the route, and to show your tickets to the team at the start.

For any queries not answered here, please email hello@topcuvee.com and the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
